This is normal for fresh produce and does not necessarily mean that the order was short-packed.<\/p>\n<h4>Storage guidance<\/h4>\n<p>Storage life depends on temperature, humidity and seasonal conditions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Green plantains:<\/strong> consume within approximately 7 days of the displayed delivery date.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ripe plantains:<\/strong> consume within approximately 5 days of the displayed delivery date.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Recommended storage:<\/strong> 10\u201315\u00b0C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Storing plantains for too long may reduce their quality.<\/p>\n<p>In cold conditions, plantains may harden, develop dark peel marks and become difficult to peel. The pulp may also lose its best texture and flavor.<\/p>\n<p>Long-term storage is therefore not recommended.<\/p>\n<h4>Can green and ripe plantains be packed in the same box?<\/h4>\n<p>No. Green and ripe plantains are processed, packed and shipped from different facilities because they require different handling and storage conditions.<\/p>\n<p>They are therefore always packed in separate boxes.<\/p>\n<p>If you want both green and ripe plantains, you can order them separately or purchase our <strong>Mixed 10kg product<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Mixed 10kg product consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One 5kg box of green plantains<\/li>\n<li>One 5kg box of ripe or semi-ripe plantains<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Because the two boxes are processed at different facilities, they may have different dispatch times, tracking numbers or delivery times.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n<p><!-- ================================================== 7. Please receive the parcel as soon as possible after the first delivery attempt.<\/p>\n<p>If the parcel is held by the carrier for too long or returned to us, we may not be able to send a replacement.<\/p>\n<h4>Returned boxes<\/h4>\n<p>Returned boxes create significant cost and food waste.<\/p>\n<p>If your box is returned, future deliveries may be paused until you contact us and we approve reactivation of your account.<\/p>\n<p>Future orders may also be changed from cash on delivery to credit card payment.<\/p>\n<h4>I accidentally ordered twice<\/h4>\n<p>If you believe you placed a duplicate order through the website and WhatsApp, please contact us immediately and provide both order details.<\/p>\n<p>Please place your order only once \u2014 either through the website or WhatsApp.<\/p>\n<p>If your first attempt contained an error and you placed a second, correct order, contact us as soon as possible so that we can cancel the incorrect order before processing.<\/p>\n<p>Repeated duplicate ordering may result in cash on delivery being removed from the account.
