Regras rápidas

1. Be available on your selected delivery date and time. Delivery times are requests and may change due to carrier delays, weather, traffic, address issues or other circumstances.
2. As bananas-da-terra verdes e maduras são processadas e enviadas separadamente porque são manuseadas em instalações diferentes.

Quando sua caixa chegar

1. Open the box immediately and check each plantain on the same day.
2. Não deixe a caixa fechada por muito tempo.
3. Remove and safely dispose of the ethylene sachet. Do not consume it.
4. Recomendamos consumir as bananas-da-terra maduras dentro de 5 dias após a data de entrega indicada.

Armazenamento

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Recommended storage temperature: 10–15°C.
• Avoid excessive cold temperatures. Very cold conditions can cause the peel to darken and the fruit to deteriorate.
• Ripe plantains should be consumed as soon as possible and within the recommended 5-day period.
• Your plantains may be delivered ripe or semi-ripe depending on the season and transport conditions.
• If the fruit arrives semi-ripe, place it in a warmer location to allow ripening to continue naturally.
• Home ripening depends on temperature, humidity and other home conditions. Home ripening results are not guaranteed.

Variação natural

• Plantain size, color and the number of pieces vary naturally by season.
• Boxes are sold by weight, not by a fixed number of plantains.
• Minor cosmetic marks, dark spots, scuffs, latex stains and peel marks can occur naturally and are not necessarily defects.
• Ripe plantains may continue to change color after delivery.

Dispatch and delivery timing

1. Ripe plantains require a controlled ripening process before dispatch.
2. Your box normally leaves the warehouse when the fruit has reached the appropriate stage for shipping.
3. Ripe plantain delivery may require an extra day depending on ripening conditions.
4. Some regions require additional delivery time because of air connections, ferry connections, weather or other carrier conditions.
5. Delivery dates and time slots are requests and may be affected by circumstances outside our control.

Se você perder a entrega

1. Check your mailbox for the missed-delivery notice. Yamato Kuroneko normally uses a yellow notice and Japan Post normally uses a red notice.
2. Request re-delivery as soon as possible because ripe plantains are time-sensitive fresh produce.
3. If you need assistance, contact us and provide your tracking number.
4. If the box is held by the carrier for too long or returned to us, we may not be able to send a replacement.
5. Returned orders may result in temporary delivery suspension. Cash on delivery may also be removed and future orders may require credit card payment.

Payment and address restrictions

• Payment options include cash on delivery (COD), online credit card payment and, for Yamato deliveries only, credit card payment at the door when available.
• We cannot deliver to U.S. military bases, installations or other restricted-access addresses.
• If COD payment is not collected because of a carrier error, payment may be required by credit card or bank transfer before future deliveries resume.

Claims policy — 48-hour rule

1. Contact us within 48 hours of the displayed delivery date.
2. Please provide a photo of the shipping label, the outside of the box, the inside of the box and clear photos of all affected plantains.
3. Keep the product and packaging until we reply because additional verification may be required.
4. Claims are not covered when the issue is caused by late receipt, missed delivery, customer storage conditions, ordering the wrong product, home ripening results or a claim made after 48 hours.
