Description: The Costa Rican fresh white yam, also known as Ñame or Yame, is a naturally starchy tuber loved in many kitchens. With creamy white flesh, a mild nutty flavor, and a satisfyingly chewy texture, it’s similar to Puna yam and works perfectly in traditional African and Caribbean dishes. Much like Puna it is ideal for boiling, frying, or pounding. Each yam is carefully wrapped before shipping to keep them fresh and full of flavor. Enjoy the taste of Costa Rica in every bite.
