Règles rapides

1. Be available on your selected delivery date and time. Delivery times are requests and may change due to carrier delays, weather, traffic, address issues or other circumstances.
2. Votre commande mixte comprend une boîte de 5 kg de plantains verts et une boîte de 5 kg de plantains mûrs ou semi-mûrs.
3. Les plantains verts et mûrs sont traités dans des installations différentes et sont expédiés séparément. Les deux boîtes peuvent donc être expédiées ou livrées séparément.

When your boxes arrive

1. Open each box immediately and check each plantain on the same day.
2. Do not leave the boxes closed for a long time.
3. Remove and safely dispose of any ethylene sachet. Do not consume it.

5. Nous recommandons de consommer les plantains mûrs dans les 5 jours suivant la date de livraison indiquée.

Conservation

Bananes plantain vertes:

• Store in a cool, dry and dark place away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Recommended storage temperature: 10–15°C.
• During warmer and more humid months, around June–September, green plantains may ripen faster.
• During cooler and drier months, around October–May, green plantains may ripen more slowly.
• Do not store green plantains for several weeks.

Ripe or semi-ripe plantains:

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Recommended storage temperature: 10–15°C.
• Consume as soon as possible and within 5 days of the displayed delivery date.
• If the fruit arrives semi-ripe, place it in a warmer location to allow ripening to continue naturally.

Avoid excessive cold temperatures for both green and ripe plantains.

Variation naturelle

• Plantain size, color and the number of pieces vary naturally by season.
• Boxes are sold by weight, not by a fixed number of plantains.
• Minor cosmetic marks such as scuffs, latex stains, peel marks and normal color changes are not necessarily defects.

Processing and delivery

1. The green and ripe boxes are processed at different facilities.

4. Ripe plantain delivery may require an extra day depending on ripening conditions.

6. Delivery dates and time slots are requests and may be affected by circumstances outside our control.

Si vous manquez la livraison

1. Check your mailbox for the missed-delivery notice. Yamato Kuroneko normally uses a yellow notice and Japan Post normally uses a red notice.
2. Request re-delivery as soon as possible because plantains are fresh produce.
3. If you need assistance, contact us and provide the tracking number.
4. If a box is held by the carrier for too long or returned to us, we may not be able to send a replacement.
5. Returned orders may result in temporary delivery suspension. Cash on delivery may also be removed and future orders may require credit card payment.

Payment and address restrictions

• Payment options include cash on delivery (COD), online credit card payment and, for Yamato deliveries only, credit card payment at the door when available.
• We cannot deliver to U.S. military bases, installations or other restricted-access addresses.
• If COD payment is not collected because of a carrier error, payment may be required by credit card or bank transfer before future deliveries resume.

Claims policy — 48-hour rule

1. Contact us within 48 hours of the displayed delivery date.
2. Please provide a photo of the shipping label, the outside of the box, the inside of the box and clear photos of all affected plantains.
3. Keep the product and packaging until we reply because additional verification may be required.
4. Claims are not covered when the issue is caused by late receipt, missed delivery, customer storage conditions, ordering the wrong product, home ripening results or a claim made after 48 hours.
